The Chinthala Paidithalli Ammavaru Temple is located in Sontyam near Pendurthi Visakhapatnam District. Most powerful goddess in this area, recently Ammavaru Chandi Yagam was done here at the temple. So many people come here to pray to the goddess and are blessed by the goddess.

Sahasra Chandi Yagam

The Sahasra Chandi Yagam involves chanting the Durga Saptashati, a collection of 700 verses praising the goddess's victories, and making offerings like ghee and herbs to a sacred fire. The ritual includes meticulous preparation and community participation, with devotees joining in prayers and donations.

Pushpa Alankarana

This involves adorning deities with flowers as an expression of devotion and reverence. Flowers are carefully selected and artistically arranged on the idols of goddess, enhancing beauty and creating a divine atmosphere. This practice symbolizes purity and the worshipper’s desire to please the deities with natural and fragrant offerings.

Abhishekam (Morning)

Abhishekam is performed in the morning where deities are anointed with sacred substances such as water, milk, honey, yogurt, and ghee. This act of purification and devotion involves chanting mantras and prayers, symbolizing the cleansing of both the deity and the devotee's soul. The ritual is often followed by Alankarana

KumKum Puja

In Kumkum Pooja where red turmeric powder, known as kumkum, is used to worship goddess. During the pooja, kumkum is offered to the deity's idol, often applied to the forehead of the deity as a mark of respect and devotion. Devotees also apply kumkum to their own foreheads, symbolizing blessings and protection.
